Dec 04, Kathmandu - Pokhara Avengers have made a mediocre start to their Nepal Premier League (NPL) match against Kathmandu Gorkhas.
Chasing a target of 166 runs set by Kathmandu at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur on Thursday, Pokhara have scored 37 runs for the loss of two wickets at the end of the first six overs.
Pokhara's captain Kushal Bhurtel, who is currently at the crease, is playing for six and Tritaraj Das is playing for nine runs.
Kathmandu's Sunny Patel and Sahab Alam took one wicket each.
Earlier, Kathmandu, who had lost the toss and elected to bat, had scored 165 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
