Dec 04, Kathmandu - A man has killed his brother and fled in Jahada, Morang.

His brother Rajkumar Shah, 28, of Majhare, Tarigama, Jahada Rural Municipality-7, had attacked him with a sharp weapon. The brother fled to India after killing his brother over a minor domestic dispute.

According to Police Inspector Lekhnath Dahal of the District Police Office, Morang, it appears that the weapon was fired on Wednesday night in a minor dispute.

Shrawan, who was injured by a sharp weapon, was taken to Birat Teaching Hospital. He died during treatment.

The Indian border is about 100 meters away from the incident site. Police have stated that the brother fled to India after the murder of his brother. According to the police, the deceased Shrawan and the absconding Rajkumar are the sons of their paternal uncle.

Police have stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
