Dec 05, Kathmandu - The 35th death anniversary of Swar Samrat Narayan Gopal Gurubacharya is being observed today. The Narayan Gopal Music Foundation, established at the residence of the legendary artist Narayan Gopal in Maharajgunj after his death, is organizing various programs in his remembrance.

Narayan Gopal, who made a unique mark in the musical field of Nepal by singing songs that expressed love, social values, life experiences, and cultural feelings, passed away on Mangsir 19, 2047.

He was given the title of Swar Samrat in recognition of his magical voice and musical skills.

Narayan Gopal, who passed his singing test in Radio Nepal in 2017 by singing songs to the music of Manikratna and Prem Dhoj Pradhan, has sung many timeless songs.
