Chitwan Sets Pokhara a Target of 121 Runs

Dec 06, Kathmandu - In the ongoing second match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Saturday, Chitwan Rhinos is currently competing against Pokhara Avengers.

The match, held at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, began with Chitwan winning the toss and electing to bat first. They set a target of 121 runs for Pokhara.

Chitwan scored 120 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Dev Khanal was the top scorer with 35 runs, facing 41 balls and hitting one boundary and one six.

Alpesh Ramjani contributed 33 runs off 22 balls, with one boundary and two sixes. Additionally, Kushal Malla added 23 runs from 23 balls.

In bowling, Dhananjay Lakshana of Pokhara took the most wickets, claiming three. Kiran Thagunna, Rohit Chandra, and Bipin Khatri each took one wicket.
