RPP Demonstration in Kathmandu

Dec 09, Kathmandu - The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demonstrated in Kathmandu on Tuesday (Mangsir 23). RPP leaders and activists demonstrated in the Ratna Park area with the aim of putting pressure on the king, political parties and 'Genji' for a new understanding.

The participants in the demonstration raised slogans in favor of the monarchy and a Hindu nation. Everyone was invited to come to the meeting organized under the leadership of RPP leader Gyanendra Shahi from their homes.

Shahi has said that they demonstrated to demand the abolition of the provincial structure, a Hindu kingdom including Hindus, Buddhists and Kirats, a constitutional monarchy and an executive prime minister directly elected by the people.
