UML Set to Mobilize 10,000 Volunteers with Dress Code for 11th Convention

Dec 12, Kathmandu - The CPN (UML) is set to mobilize 10,000 volunteers for the 11th general convention and more than 500 of them will be mobilized under a ‘dress code’.

At a press conference organized in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur on Friday, party standing committee member and mass organization coordination coordinator Bhanubhakta Dhakal informed that more than 500 volunteers will be in a dress code.

He said, “We have coordinated with our mass organizations to ensure that more than 500 volunteers will be in a dress code.”

Dhakal informed that the Liaison Coordination Committee, district committees of all three geographies of the Valley and the Valley Special Committee have been included as volunteers.

He also said that an additional leadership command has been arranged for 500 volunteers.

He said, “We have done that work within the structure of one commander for every 10 volunteers, one commander for each organization, and we have planned to mobilize 10,000 volunteers to make the public meeting organized and effective.”

Dhakal said that representatives from ANNISU, GFONT and others will be mobilized as volunteers with their identities.

He said that since the program is being held in Bhaktapur, the party from Bhaktapur will also participate in the program.

The UML has claimed that the 11th general convention to be held on Saturday will be organized and dignified.
