Dec 14, Kathmandu - Punyasahila Srivastava, wife of Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava, has arrived in Kathmandu. She landed at Tribhuvan International Airport last night on an Air India flight.

It is said that Punyasahila arrived in Kathmandu at 12:45 pm after her husband Naveen Srivastava suddenly collapsed while hiking yesterday afternoon. The ambassador, who was returning after completing his term in Nepal, suddenly collapsed while hiking on his day off yesterday, Saturday.

At 2:30 pm, he went hiking in the forest of Bhasmesur Danda, Ward No. 9, Dakshinkali Municipality, Kathmandu, along with two embassy officers, when he suddenly collapsed due to chest pain and was rescued by an army helicopter and taken to Grande Hospital. He is being treated on a ventilator.
