Digital Rights Conference to Be Held in Kathmandu, Register to Participate for Free

Dec 15, Kathmandu - A conference on digital rights is to be organized in Kathmandu. The conference titled 'Building Trust in the Digital Age' is to be organized on Tuesday (December 16) at Mall Plaza in Thamel, Kathmandu.

The conference is organized by the Digital Freedom Coalition. The conference will discuss the protection of human rights in digital technology, algorithmic transparency, digital bias, and platform regulation. Similarly, experts from relevant fields will hold panel discussions on analysis of Nepal's AI policy, information reliability, and digital literacy in Nepal.

Baburam Aryal, founder and advocate of the Digital Freedom Coalition, said that it is estimated that 100 to 110 people will participate in the one-day conference, which will run from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
