INFA to be Held in New Delhi from February 1st

Dec 15, Kathmandu - The International Nepali Film Festival (INFA) is scheduled to take place in New Delhi, India, from February 1 to 3, 2026. The festival organizers announced the event through a press release, highlighting their commitment to promote Nepali cinema on an international platform.

The primary aim of the festival is to showcase Nepali films to a global audience and to create a shared space for creative and commercial expansion of Nepali cinema.

The festival calls for Nepali feature films released in 2025 to participate. The deadline for film submissions is January 7, 2026.

Awards will be presented in various categories, including Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Actor/Actress, and other technical awards. Actor Krishna Malla will serve as the chief judge of this year's jury.

The jury panel also includes director Tulsiram Ghimire, actor Sunil Thapa, actress Bipana Thapa, and renowned Indian theatre actor Avtar Sahani.

Rajendra Ghimire, the festival chair, expressed his expectation that thousands of viewers and film enthusiasts will participate in the event.
