Dec 16, Kathmandu - The eighth National Flag Day was celebrated on Tuesday with various programs. The National Heritage Conservation Foundation Nepal celebrated the National Flag Day with various programs in Basantapur, Kathmandu.
The foundation has been celebrating this day since Paush 1, 2075. On Paush 1, 2019, the national flag of Nepal was adopted by the United Nations.
In memory of that day, the foundation has been celebrating the day since 1 Poush, 2075, said Rajananda Mandavya, founding chairman of the National Heritage Conservation Foundation Nepal. He said that the day was celebrated as a way to honor the national flag.
The foundation has been celebrating National Flag Day, National Costume Day, and National Hat Day every year.
