Nepali Congress Leaders Shekhar Koirala and Sher Bahadur Deuba Held Meeting on Tuesday

Dec 16, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress leaders Dr. Shekhar Koirala and President Sher Bahadur Deuba held a meeting Today.

The meeting was convened to discuss issues including the recent incident where the Active Distribution Committee sent forms without serial numbers to districts, and the disciplinary action recommended by the Central Discipline Committee. Dr. Minendra Rijal, a central member, accompanied Koirala to meet with Deuba.

During the meeting, Koirala informed Deuba about the distribution of forms without serial numbers by the Active Distribution Committee, which has created complex problems across the party nationwide.

Koirala urged Deuba to immediately recall the forms without serial numbers and send new forms. He argued that the process of the party's general convention cannot commence based on forms lacking serial numbers.

Highlighting concerns about disciplinary actions, Koirala emphasized that all disciplinary measures should be withdrawn, and instructed that preparations for the party's general convention and the upcoming elections should proceed smoothly. He also stated that issues related to the coalition during the 2079 elections should not be grounds for disciplinary action at this time.
