Medical Chief of Trauma Center Resigns

Dec 18, Kathmandu - National Trauma Center Medical Chief Superintendent Dr. Badri Rijal has resigned from his post.

He has reportedly submitted his resignation citing personal and professional reasons. During Dr. Rijal's tenure, significant initiatives were taken in strengthening emergency and trauma services, improving service management, and coordinating human resources at the National Trauma Center.

With his resignation, the Ministry of Health and Population will take necessary steps to manage the leadership of the center.

A formal decision is yet to be taken by the concerned body regarding the acceptance of the resignation and the appointment of a new Medical Chief Superintendent.
