Dec 19, Kathmandu - The Nepal Medical Association (NMA) has announced the preliminary list of candidates contesting for various positions in the upcoming election scheduled for the Nepali month of Magh.

According to a press release issued by the association, elections will be held for a total of 19 positions. The positions include one President, one Senior Vice President, seven Vice Presidents (including one regional coordinator from each province), one General Secretary, one Treasurer, one Additional Secretary, and six Members.

Candidates for the Chairman race include Dr. Badri Rijal, Dr. Mangal Rawal, and Dr. Narayan Prasad Bhusal, who are competing for the top post.

The election outside the Kathmandu Valley will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of Magh, while the election within the Kathmandu Valley is scheduled for the 15th, 16th, and 17th of Magh.
