Ramesh Lekhak to Give Statement to Commission of Inquiry on Monday

Dec 25, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak, who was the Home Minister during the Gen-Z movement on Bhadra 23 and 24, is set to give the statement to the inquiry commission formed after the movement on Monday.

Speaking to reporters after the Nepali Congress's performance committee meeting held at the party's central office in Sanepa on Thursday, Lekhak said that he will give the statement to the commission on Monday.

"The commission formed to investigate the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24 has called me to get information about the incident. I have decided to go to the commission," Lekhak told reporters. "They (the commission) called me for Friday. I have decided to go on Monday."

Lekhak said that he had already informed the commission that he would come to give the statement on Monday.
