Dec 25, Kathmandu - RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah are set to hold further discussions to work together in the upcoming elections.

On Thursday, Lamichhane and Shah held discussions for about 2.5 hours. After the discussions, Chairman Lamichhane said that the talks were good. He did not want to say anything more about the discussions with Shah.

People close to Lamichhane and Shah have said that there will be another meeting between the two. 'They have come up to sit down for talks again, they will sit down again soon,' both sides said.

After meeting Shah, Lamichhane is in internal discussions within the party. Balen is in discussions with leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Ujyalo Nepal along with Amresh Kumar Singh, a Gen-Z representative. He is holding political discussions at the house of his advisor Kumar Ben in Lalitpur's Jwagal.

Balen met Lamichhane on Thursday morning after meeting with Energy Minister and Ujyalo Nepal Party patron Kulman Ghising and former Congress MP Dr. Sunil Sharma.
