Dec 26, Kathmandu - Four people were killed and 23 injured when a passenger bus crashed into a mountain in Camarines Sur province on Luzon island in the Philippines on Friday morning.

According to police, the bus, which was heading south from Metro Manila, lost control and fell off the road on the highway in Del Gallego Municipality. There were 27 people on board, including the driver and co-driver.

Police said that the bus was prevented from falling further by trees below the road, preventing major damage.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
