Dec 27, Kathmandu - Janga Bahadur Budha, 43, of Dungeshwor Rural Municipality-5, Dailekh, who was injured in a vehicle accident on Saturday morning, has died during treatment.

He was hit by a vehicle on the road at Tempo Park, Birendranagar Municipality-1, Surkhet.

According to the police, the elderly man, who had been drinking, was seriously injured when an unknown vehicle hit him while he was sleeping on the road.

He died while undergoing treatment at the provincial hospital, said Deepak Magarathi, Information Officer and Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Surkhet.

Police said that a search is underway for the vehicle that hit him.
