Dec 27, Kathmandu - Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) has briefed Energy Minister Kulman Ghising about the proposal made to him by the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

In a meeting between Balen and Kulman on Saturday, Balen briefed Kulman about the proposal made by the RSP on Friday.

According to a source close to Kulman, Balen had told him that the Prime Minister and others had made proposals and that the stake issue had not yet been resolved.

"What exactly happened will only come to light after it is over. As far as we know, he told us about the proposal made by the RSP yesterday. It is understood that most of the issues are yet to be resolved with the RSSS," the source said.

Discussions are currently ongoing between the two. The location of the discussion has not been clearly disclosed.
