Dec 27, Kathmandu - The government is holding discussions with top leaders of major political parties today to create an environment for the election. Prime Minister Sushila Karki is set to hold discussions with Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli, and Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
According to government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, the Prime Minister will hold discussions with top leaders of the three parties at 3 pm today at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar. Minister for Communications Kharel will also participate in the discussions. Prime Minister Karki is set to hold discussions with top leaders for final preparations for the election and further coordination between the parties.
Earlier, Prime Minister Karki had held discussions with Congress President Deuba, UML Chairman Oli and Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Prachanda at Sheetal Niwas under the mediation of Chairman Ram Chandra Poudel. Government spokesperson Kharel had reached Deuba, Oli and Dahal at their residences on Friday to create an environment for the election.
