Internet Satellites Launched from China

Dec 27, Kathmandu - China has successfully launched the 17th batch of internet satellites, Runet, into space using China's Long March 8A rocket from Hainan.

A Long March 8A carrier rocket launched from the southern island province of Hainan on Friday, sending a group of internet satellites into space.

The rocket took off from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Center at 7:26 a.m. Beijing time.

It successfully placed the 17th batch of low-orbit internet satellites into their designated orbits.
