Help Nepal Reaches Quarterfinals

Dec 28, Kathmandu - Tip Top Help Nepal Sports Club has reached the quarterfinals of the men's division of the 9th NVA Volleyball Championship.

Help Nepal reached the last eight after defeating Manimukunda Volleyball Club 3-0 in straight sets on the third day of the championship, which is underway at the National Sports Council Covered Hall in Tripureshwor.

Help Nepal won 25-16, 25-19, 25-22. In their first match in Group 'A', Help Nepal defeated APF in straight sets 3-0. Help Nepal has entered the knockout stage in the group winners' room.

The winner of the group between APF and Manimukunda will advance to the quarterfinals as the runner-up.

Second win for APF and Army

Today, APF Club and Tribhuvan Army Club have won their second win in the women's category.

APF defeated Sudurpaschim Province Sports Council 3-0. APF won the Group 'B' match 25-6, 25-11, 25-12.

APF defeated Madhesh Sports Council 3-0 in the first match. With this win, APF has increased its chances of reaching the semi-finals.

In the first match of the championship today, Tribhuvan Army Club defeated Chuli Youth Club 3-0 in straight sets. Army won the match 24-16, 25-12, 25-9.

Army defeated Everest Volleyball Club in its first match of Group 'A'. Army has also strengthened its chances of reaching the last four.

The last match today in the men's category will be between Nepal Police Club and Khilji Youth Club.
