Dec 29, Kathmandu - An agreement has been signed between The Times International College and One Cover Private Limited with the aim of prioritizing cybersecurity education in Nepal and producing skilled cybersecurity manpower.
The signing of the strategic partnership letter in Kathmandu on Monday is considered a significant milestone towards integrating technical expertise with academic excellence.
The aim is to produce cybersecurity experts by leveraging the technical capabilities of One Cover, a leader in cybersecurity solutions and consulting in Nepal, while providing practical, industry-relevant skills to Nepali students.
On the occasion, Sujan Aryal, Executive Chairman of The Times International College, emphasized the college’s commitment to providing high-quality technical education.
“This partnership is a bridge between theoretical knowledge and the practical demands of the global tech industry,” he said.
Chiranjeevi Adhikari, CEO of One Cover Private Limited, highlighted the importance of early exposure to security practices and said that the aim is to secure the future of Nepal’s digital infrastructure by providing practical knowledge about cybersecurity.
The MoU has been extended for an initial term of three years.
Both parties have committed to working on joint research and development projects to address emerging threats such as AI-driven cyber attacks and data privacy challenges in the Nepali context.
