Deuba Called Two General Secretaries and the Acting Chairman After discussion of the Special General Convention

Jan 01, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba has called two general secretaries and an acting Chairman.

After booking a hall at Bhrikutimandap to organize a special general convention, Deuba called a meeting with the two general secretaries to discuss the matter.

Chairman Deuba has been saying that there are no procedures or guidelines for the special general convention and that the regular general convention should be held as it will lead to further disputes.

Meanwhile, the general secretaries have been saying that a special general convention is a legal obligation since a regular general convention will not be possible before Paush 28.

They have booked the Bhrikutimandap hall for Paush 27 and 28, stating that the proposal for a special general convention will be 'active' as soon as a regular general convention is not possible.
