Jan 01, Kathmandu - TingTing, known as an AI telephony service provider, has released its new product TingTing Next. Through a virtual program on Wednesday, the company introduced this technology to the market with the aim of making customer service more effective.
According to the company, this technology was created to solve the problem of communication between customers and companies being limited only to data in modern businesses. While most technologies focus on how the company speaks, Tingting prioritizes how the company understands the customer.
The company has called this an important step in the direction of Human-AI Amplification. The main feature of this system is the text-to-speech engine called Riri. Prepared in Nepal, it communicates based on original Nepali languages and feelings, not in robotic or foreign languages like global AI models.
At this launch, 'TingTing Agent' is the main attraction. It can have a natural two-way conversation like a human, completely eliminating the cumbersome old-style 'press 1 for support' menu. It is claimed that this agent has the ability to respond by understanding Nepali language and intent in less than 200 milliseconds.
In addition, the company has also promoted Tingting Text and Tingting Firms. Tingting Text uses Nepal's largest SMS infrastructure, Sparrow SMS, to quickly deliver important information to millions of users, while through 'Tingting Firms', customers can give their feedback by speaking.
According to the company, there is no need to fill complicated digital forms as the AI will immediately convert spoken Nepali into organized data. The company claims that this platform with high security standards and self-healing capability has proved that it is possible to build world-class and reliable technology in Nepal.
