Jan 02, Kathmandu - Film director and producer Shobhit Basnet is set to embark on a musical tour of Australia with the team of the television comedy reality show 'Comedy Durbar'.

A formal written agreement has been signed between director Basnet and Bikey Agarwal on behalf of Comedy Durbar for this.

This tour, which will begin in mid-February, will last for about a month.

Director Basnet informed that programs will be organized in about 8 major cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, and Newcastle as part of the tour.

"We are organizing this tour to provide ample entertainment to the Nepali community in Australia, and all preparations have been made for this," Basnet said.

Most of the popular artists of ‘Comedy Durbar’ will participate in the tour.

The main presenter of the program is ‘Palpa Entertainment’, while the tour will be jointly organized by ‘3Kg Event’ and Palpa Entertainment.

Shobit Basnet is preparing to go to Australia soon to manage and prepare for the program.

In addition, a plan has been decided between Palpa Entertainment and Shobit Basnet to organize regular entertainment programs in Australia every two months.

Earlier, senior musician Shambhujit Baskota, singer Yam Baral, Anand Karki, and others have given grand performances in various cities in Australia under their management.
