Jan 02, Kathmandu - Milan Gurung (Chakre Milan) has been recommended as a candidate for the House of Representatives election on Falgun 21 from Gorkha 2.

In the 2079 BS House of Representatives election, UML had also recommended him as a candidate from Gorkha 2.

This time too, after being recommended as a candidate, he has claimed that this decision was taken due to the continuous demands and pressure of the public, youth and Gen-Z generation rather than his personal wishes.

Gurung has said that he has been active in UML since around 2050 BS. ‘I have been continuously associated with the party and am active in social service and politics,’ he said. ‘I am confident that the Gorkha people will elect me and send me to Parliament as I have been continuously contributing to various sectors of society.’
