Actress Swastima Khadka Bought an Electric Car Worth 6.8 Million

Jan 02, Kathmandu - Celebrities are increasingly attracted to electric vehicles. Actress Swastima Khadka bought Mahindra's new EV car 'BE Six' worth Rs 6.8 million on Friday.

Chairman of Agni Group and Shark Tank Nepal's Shark Cabinet Shrestha handed over the car to Swastima at Mahindra's showroom in Naxal, Garidhara.

“Swastima and I have been collaborating for a long time. We are happy to have her as a customer of our new car,” the cabinet said. A small celebration was held on the occasion.

Swastima and Nischal Basnet celebrated by cutting a cake. This is Swastima’s second EV car. Earlier, she had been driving a Mahindra ‘XUV400’ model car.

Swastima said she likes electric vehicles because they are environmentally friendly and economical. “Now electric vehicles are our future,” Swastima said. “Even in terms of driving, the cost of buying oil is the same as it used to be, but EV vehicles are more economical. They are also cheaper.”

She shared her experience of using Mahindra's EV vehicle to commute to and from shooting and for work.
