There is no possibility of forming an all-party government: Prachanda

Jan 03, Kathmandu - Nepali Communist Party (NCP) coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the country is focused on the election. At a press conference organized by the Press Center in Khandbari on Saturday (Paush 19), he said that the current government will hold the election.

He mentioned that the country is now heading towards the election as political parties have already submitted their closed lists for proportional representation to the Election Commission. He said that there is no need to have any doubts as the ‘Gen-Z’ youth generation is in favor of the election.

Prachanda commented that there is no possibility of forming an all-party or all-party government in the country now. He said that the government will not be reorganized.

Before returning to Kathmandu, he told reporters that the current government is capable of holding elections to the House of Representatives on Falgun 21.

“While the constitution was being drafted by the Constituent Assembly, we had promised that we would review the constitution after 10 years and amend and revise it based on the positive and negative aspects of the constitution,” he said.

He said that there was a need for political parties to go for a new mandate in line with the spirit and spirit of the Gen-Z movement.

He expressed the view that the election process has already begun, that the parliament will not be restored, and that the current government should conduct the election. He said that the process of amending the constitution will be taken forward after receiving a new mandate.

Prachanda and co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal had come to Khandbari to participate in the unity declaration program of the Nepali Communist Party.
