Jan 05, Kathmandu - An Indian national carrying marijuana from Thailand and two other Indian nationals who came to receive the marijuana have been arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport.

The arrested have been identified as 30-year-old Bheera Venkata Subramaniam alias Padala, Abdul Rahuf and Yasin Abdullah.

Padala was arrested from the arrival tunnel of the airport with 1 kg 530 grams of marijuana. He had come to Kathmandu from Bangkok on a Thai Air flight.

Abdul and Yasin, who came to receive the marijuana he brought, were also arrested. All three have been taken to the Narcotics Control Bureau Koteshwor for investigation.
