Jan 05, Kathmandu - Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, wife of Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, has left for Delhi. She is also a central member of the Congress and former Foreign Minister.
Dr. Rana left Kathmandu for Delhi at 2 pm on Monday, Deuba's secretariat has informed.
Sources say that he went to India for follow-up treatment. ArZu had undergone a uterine surgery in July 2079 at Max Hospital in New Delhi, India.
The secretariat says he went to Delhi to follow up on the same. Although it is said to be for follow-up treatment, Congress leaders say he will try to meet security officials and political leaders while in Delhi.
Earlier, Nepali Communist Party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda also reached India on Sunday evening.
