Ncell Expands 250 New Towers and Increases Capacity by 2,200 Sites

Jan 05, Kathmandu - Ncell has taken a significant step towards expanding the reach and improving the quality of its 4G network by installing and commissioning 250 new towers across the country in 2025. It has also increased the capacity of 2,200 towers, enabling customers to enjoy clearer voice services and higher-speed data services.

This 4G network strengthening and service expansion comes at a time when reliable connectivity is becoming more than just a service, but also a necessity for security, education, business and staying connected with loved ones. New towers have been installed and commissioned in various local levels of all seven provinces, with a special focus on Madhesh, Lumbini, Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

In terms of provinces, Ncell has provided 4G services by installing towers in local levels including Sabhapokhari in Dailekh, Purtimkanda in Rukum West and Bagchaur in Salyan in Karnali Province. Towers have also been installed in other places including Ladagada in Doti, Banjariya in Kailali and Saraswati Tole in Kanchanpur in Sudurpaschim Province. Similarly, in dozens of places including Hanumannagar in Siraha, Bhimpur in Saptari and Musaharniya in Dhanusha in Madhesh Province, locals have benefited from high-quality voice and mobile broadband services after new towers came into operation.
