Jan 06, Kathmandu - Interim government Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has said that development has not been possible in Nepal due to the unstable political system. Addressing a program organized by the Nepal Chamber of Commerce in Kathmandu on Tuesday, he said this.
Minister Kharel said that no minister or prime minister has been able to complete his five-year term in Nepal's political system. He insisted that it is not possible to transform such an unstable political system. He said that no miracle will happen even in the three months of his tenure as minister. Minister Kharel said that he will continue to work to resolve the current problems. He said that he will help in any problems that arise from the ministry in the next two months.
"If you look closely, in our political system, since the time of Prime Minister Bhimsen Thapa, a minister has not been able to fully run the country or run the term for five years. I am the people of the country and its current minister. How can a country be transformed in three months?," he said.
Minister Kharel requested suggestions to include necessary points when making a digital Nepal roadmap. He said that there is no political party that does not believe that the constitution should be amended.
