Jan 09, Kathmandu - The government has opened the recruitment form for election police from today. The recruitment has been opened for the purpose of the upcoming House of Representatives election to be held on 21 Falgun.
The Police Headquarters, Human Resource Development Department, Recruitment and Selection Branch has issued a notice demanding 133,980 election police personnel.
Accordingly, the process of accepting applications has started from today at the District Police Complex, Kathmandu. It is stated that this process will continue until the next Magh 1st. The notice states that applications will also be accepted on holidays.
Applications can be submitted from the District Police Complexes (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur) and all District Police Offices.
The notice states that in the selection of election police, priority will be given to former security personnel and former forest guards, those who have applied for recruitment in various security agencies in the past and passed the physical fitness and health tests.
In addition, persons who have been recruited as temporary police officers in previous elections and performed satisfactorily, and Nepali citizens who have retired after working in security agencies of foreign countries will also be given priority.
