Jan 09, Kathmandu - To promote the upcoming Nepali love story film ‘Kumari’, which will be released on 23rd of Magh, the film and live music will be combined on a single stage to organize ‘Kumari Live Musical Concert with Kehar and the Lunga’.
The trailer prepared with the aim of providing information about the concert was made public at a program organized in Kathmandu on Thursday evening.
At the program, the film’s playback singer Kehar Singh Limbu and his band Kehar and the Lunga performed songs from the film and also provided information about the concert.
This integrated promotional tour, which will be organized under the power of Big Mart and Kings Hill Premium, will be conducted nationwide, where the band will be accompanied by the film’s lead actors Abhishek Khadka, Aakriti Rajbhandari and director Dinesh Raut.
Focusing on the band, established as the musical soul of 'Kumari', live musical concerts will be organized in Nepalgunj, Pokhara, Chitwan, Damak, and Kathmandu.
According to the information given in the program, live concerts will be organized in Nepalgunj on Thursday, Magh 1, Pokhara on Magh 3, Chitwan on Magh 6, Kathmandu on Magh 9, and Damak on Magh 17. The organizers have also stated that the official trailer of 'Kumari' will be released during the Kathmandu concert.
The song 'Doko Bunne Nigalo Choyale' from the film has become popular. The song has the vocals of Kehar Singh Limbu, lyrics by Sagar Lamichhane Magar and Suman Tamang, and music by Suman Tamang and Kehar Singh Limbu.
On Thursday's program, Kehar performed 'Doko Bunne' and another song from the film 'Kata Chhau Mero Phool'.
'Kumari' is considered a strong presentation of the Nepali love story genre. Director Dinesh Raut said that it was organized with the aim of transforming film and music into a single festival through a nationwide live concert tour. The script of the film is written by Bikash Subedi and the producer is Mahendra Adhikari.
