Jan 11, Kathmandu - The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has submitted an updated list of candidates for the upcoming elections to the Election Commission this morning.

Spokesperson Manish Jha said that the updated list of candidates for the upcoming elections from the proportional representation side was submitted to the Election Commission this morning. The list was submitted after the dissolution of the alliance with the Ujyalo Nepal Party.

According to the party, the list of proportional candidates has been revised and submitted on time as per the Election Commission's schedule. The party has stated that the candidates included in the list have been selected to represent different backgrounds, regions and communities.

The Election Commission has stated that it will study the submitted lists and make the final list public after completing the legal process. Political parties are intensifying the candidate selection and registration process targeting the upcoming elections.
