Special general convention held as per rules and regulations: Gopalman Shrestha

Jan 11, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress leader Gopalman Shrestha has claimed that the special general convention was held as per the rules and regulations.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the special general convention, Shrestha said that the party should implement the decisions made by the special general convention. He said that the party youth should be brought forward in the party leadership and said, "Now the future cannot be built by just eating the interest of history. Times have changed, generations have changed, people's expectations have changed. The style of running the party must be changed, new youth must be brought forward." Shrestha added, "I am not standing to ask for any position. I am a 78-year-old person, I have shed blood and sweat in this party for 70 years. Don't talk about factions, we must rise above the party and unite."
