Six Decisions of the Cabinet Meeting

Jan 12, Kathmandu - The government has made six decisions, including approving the National Policy Against Human Trafficking 2082. The Cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Monday, chaired by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, has made six decisions, including approving the National Policy Against Human Trafficking 2082.

The meeting also decided to approve the Financial Sector Development Strategy 2082-083 to 2086-087. Similarly, it has been decided to recommend to the President to convene a session of the National Assembly of the Federal Parliament at the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Singha Durbar, on Magh 4 at 11 am.

The Cabinet has also decided to approve the annual contribution of US $ 283,503 for 2024, which Nepal must pay as a member country of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICMOD).

The Cabinet meeting also decided to provide financial assistance of US$ 350,000 for the reconstruction of the Archives of the Mahamuni Buddhist Pagoda and the Gangaghat Temple in Myanmar, which were damaged by the March 2025 earthquake.

Similarly, the meeting decided to appoint Govinda Prasad Bhandari as the chairman of the Gorkhapatra Sansthan.
