Jan 13, Kathmandu - Police have arrested a man with a container carrying electric cigarettes (vapes) worth more than Rs 20 million. The Armed Police Force (APF) said that he was arrested from Lomanthang Rural Municipality-4, Nechung, Mustang on Monday (Push 28).
32-year-old Pema Lama of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-5, Sindhupalchowk, was taken into custody with electric cigarettes (vapes) worth Rs 22.459 million, informed the Armed Police Force (APF) Joint Spokesperson and DASP Shailendra Thapa.
The Armed Police Force (APF) said that he was taken into custody with 80 cartons of electric cigarettes that were illegally brought from China a few days ago in a container with the number Na6Kha 7591 and loaded into a vehicle in front of the Corolla border crossing. The arrested Lama is the driver of the container.

Lama has been handed over to the Area Police Office, Chosher for necessary action. The Armed Police Force has stated that the container was damaged and the tissue and toilet paper in it were sealed by the Customs Office at the same place.
