Jan 13, Kathmandu - A free three-day eye surgery service camp has started at Satdhara in Chaudandigadhi Municipality-6 here.

With the support of the municipality, the team of Dr. Sanduk Ruit, a senior doctor at Tilganga Eye Hospital in Kathmandu, has started the free eye surgery service.

Chaudandigadhi Municipality Deputy Chief Manikadevi Dulal said that more than 500 eye patients will undergo cataract and glaucoma surgeries in the camp that started on Monday.

Chaudandigadhi Municipality has stated that 125 people were treated for cataract and glaucoma on the first day. It has been stated that a large number of eye patients have reached the camp from Chaudandigadhi, Triyuga and Belka municipalities for eye treatment and surgery services.
