Jan 15, Kathmandu - The Bagmati State Government has handed over 30 motorcycles to the State Police Office, Hetauda. Provincial Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya handed over the keys of the motorcycle to Provincial Police Chief Arun Paudel in a program organized on Thursday.
To strengthen the security system, speedy delivery of services and effective police deployment, the Bagmati state government has purchased two wheelers worth 97 lakh 20 thousand rupees. The motorcycles purchased in accordance with the prevailing laws and accepted standards by inviting national tenders are equipped with FI and ABS system of 160 cc capacity.
Bagmati Province Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Prabhat Tamang, Chief Minister and Cabinet Office Hetauda Chief Secretary Baburam Adhikari, Bagmati Province Police Office Hetauda Chief Deputy Inspector General of Police Arun Paudel and others were present in the program. The program was conducted by Police Inspector Chuda Kumari Khadka.
