Jan 15, Kathmandu - The police have arrested one person on the charge of being involved in the case of the mass murder of three people in Kaseri Ghat, Shuklagandaki Municipality-5, Belchautara, Tanahun. After the bodies of three people were found in the garbage processing center on Saturday, the police started an intensive investigation.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shrawan Kumar BK, Information Officer of District Police Office Tanahun, the person who was arrested on Tuesday has admitted his involvement in the murder. The police are currently investigating the incident and have kept the name and address of the arrested person confidential. It has been revealed that the arrested person is a frequent visitor to the waste treatment center.
The police said that two of the dead have been identified. Those who have been identified are 41-year-old Narayan Vick of Shuklagandaki Municipality-11 and 58-year-old Deumaya Thapa of Bhimad Municipality-8, Bhagar. The identity of another deceased man has not yet been revealed. The police said that further investigation is being conducted into the nature and cause of the incident and they will soon hold a press conference and release detailed information.
