Former MP and Nobel Hospital CEO Sunil Sharma Donates NPR 3 Million to Nepali Cricket Team

Jan 17, Kathmandu - Former MP and Managing Director of Nobel Hospital Sunil Sharma has donated Rs 3 million to the Nepali cricket team. Last September, he announced that he would donate Rs 3 million to the Nepali team after they won the three-match T20 series against the West Indies in Sharjah, UAE.

Nepal, playing its first series against a Test nation, had historically won the series against the West Indies 2-1.

At the farewell ceremony of the Nepali cricket team going to play in the World Cup, he handed over a check of the declared amount to captain Rohit Paudel. He also announced that he would donate Rs 2 million to the Nepali team if it reaches the Super Eights of the World Cup.

Sharma, the director of Nobel Hospital, also announced that the players and their families will be provided with free treatment for two years.
