Jan 18, Kathmandu - Targeting the winter season, Nepal's on-demand service platform Vetyo has launched professional geyser repair and installation services for homes and offices in the Kathmandu Valley.

Vetyo has stated that this service starts from Rs 1,000.

With the onset of winter, problems such as geyser breakdown, slow water heating, strange noises, excessive electricity consumption, and electric shocks increase. Experts say that regular servicing of geysers is necessary, as such problems make daily life uncomfortable. Since geysers are continuously used appliances, it is recommended to service them once every 6 months or at least once a year.

Vetyo has stated that it will provide a complete inspection of the geyser, heating coil and thermostat check, wire and connection test, complete cleaning by removing scaling, safety check, and new geyser installation service by experienced and certified technicians. The company claims that regular servicing will extend the life of the geyser, reduce electricity costs, and reduce safety risks.
