Jan 20, Kathmandu - Nominations of 10 people, including one independent, have been registered in Jumla for the Falgun 21 election to the House of Representatives.
According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, the nominations were made by District Chairman Shantilal Mahat from the UML, Deep Bahadur Shahi from the Nepali Congress, Naresh Bhandari from the Nepali Communist Party, Binita Kathayat from the Rastriya Swatantra Party, and Gyan Bahadur Shahi from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
According to the office, Birkha Bahadur Rawat of the Nepal Communist Party, Manarishi Dhital of the Progressive Democratic Party, Ranil Bikram Shahi of the Nepal Janata Party, and Birkha Bahadur Shahi of the Nepal Communist Party have registered their candidacies.
The Chief Electoral Officer's Office has stated that Bhakta Bahadur Rawal has filed his candidacy as an independent candidate. Chief Electoral Officer Ananda Raj Panta informed that the nomination registration process was completed peacefully.
