Government's Decision to Extend the Term of the Inquiry Commission by 20 Days

Jan 22, Kathmandu - The government has extended the deadline for the inquiry commission formed to investigate the physical and human damage caused during the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24, 2082 BS and submit a report by 20 days.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers held at Singha Durbar on Thursday.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting, government spokesperson and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has accepted a grant assistance of two million US dollars from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank for the preparation of the Siddhartha Highway Butwal-Pokhara road section improvement project. The government has designated Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal as the spokesperson of the Government of Nepal.
