Jan 22, Kathmandu - The candidacy of Resham Lal Chaudhary, the patron of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, Nepal, has been rejected.

The Office of the Returning Officer has rejected his candidacy. “The nomination of Mr. Resham Lal Chaudhary, the candidate of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, Nepal (single election symbol), in the election for the post of member of the House of Representatives under the first past the post electoral system, has been rejected as it is not in a condition to be maintained as per the prevailing law. Do as per the law,” the decision of the Returning Officer’s Office said.

He was a candidate from Kailali 1.
