Jan 23, Kathmandu - Two people lost their lives following a collision between two motorcycles in Rautahat on Friday.

The accident occurred on the inner road of Gaur Pipara, near Rajdevi Municipality-1, Pahtra School. A motorcycle with license plate number PRO 2-0-3-0-1-8 P 3346 heading towards Gaur from Ganga Pipara collided with an oncoming motorcycle with license plate number B R 30 F 2370 coming from the opposite direction. The collision resulted in the deaths of both motorcycle riders.

The deceased are identified as 30-year-old Ashok Mahto of Pipara Bazaar, Pragathi-2, and 29-year-old Arbind Mahto of Hajminiyan, Rajdevi Municipality-2. Both were being transported to the Provincial Hospital Gaur when doctors declared them dead, according to the District Police Office Gaur.
