Jan 25, Kathmandu - A jeep accident in Myagde Rural Municipality-4, Tanahun, has resulted in one death and one injury.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shravan Kumar BK, the jeep, with license plate number Ga 3 Cha 5838, was traveling from Colddanda towards Tharpu along the internal road segment in Colddanda. The vehicle fell approximately 20 meters off the road this morning, leading to the death of 13-year-old Koiska Gharti of Magde-4, Tanahun.

The injured girl was rushed to Damauli Hospital, where she was announced dead by medical staff at 8:40 AM on Sunday.

Additionally, 15-year-old Dipsan Gharti of the same area was injured in the accident and is currently receiving treatment. Police have detained the 30-year-old driver, Basanta Gharti, in connection with the incident.
