Balen Heading to the Far West

Jan 25, Kathmandu - Senior Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balendra Shah (Balen), who returned to Kathmandu from Jhapa, is set to leave for the Sudurpaschim Province tomorrow. He is scheduled to visit various districts of the Sudurpaschim and participate in the election campaign.

Balen, who reached Jhapa during the election nomination process, stayed there for a few days and returned to the capital only yesterday. Immediately after that, he is set to leave for the Sudurpaschim Province.

Two people considered close to Balen have filed their candidacies in the Sudurpaschim Province. His chief personal secretary Bhupdev Shah has become a candidate from Achham-2 and core team member KP Khanal has become a candidate from Kailali-2. Sources say that Balen is going to the Sudurpaschim with these constituencies as the focus.

Balen is scheduled to return to Kathmandu after spending a few days in the Sudurpaschim Province. It is said that he will also participate in the election campaign in some constituencies of Kathmandu and Lalitpur.
