Jan 26, Kathmandu - One person was arrested from the customs barrier in Gaur Municipality-2 of Rautahat on Monday.

A joint team deployed by the Armed Police Force Nepal Border Security Force Headquarters Gaur and the Customs Security Guard arrested one person while he was coming from India to Nepal at 1:30 pm, informed Prem Sagar Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Force of the Armed Police Force Nepal Border Security Force Headquarters Gaur.

The arrested person is Ram Narayan Yadav, 38, of Rajpur Municipality-6 of Rautahat. During a suspicious check on Yadav, banned drugs worth approximately Rs 37,144 were found.

Two hundred and forty tablets of Zenegra Red and three hundred tablets of Neurobin were seized from him, said Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Force Nepal Border Security Force Headquarters Gaur.

Yadav has been taken into custody and sent to the District Police Office Rautahat for necessary action, he said.
